If you would like only certain people to be able to watch a video, you could ask them to enter a password.
This is the simplest way to make a private video. It is very easy to do: simply apply a restriction to that video (this works for playlists too). Then, when the video is requested, the viewer will be prompted to enter a password before they are able to watch it:
A restriction contains one or more policies that control who is permitted to view a video or playlist. Restricting by password is just one of the options available: you can also make sure the embed code only responds to requests originating from a particular country, IP range or to a user authenticated by your corporate authentication system (single sign-on).
