Two-step verification (MFA)

Once enabled, when you sign-in to the enterprise video platform you will be asked to enter a code. That code is generated by an authenticator app you will have installed on your smartphone or tablet. It verifies you have access to your mobile device.

There are a variety of free authenticator apps available. For example Google Authenticator which is available for all major devices.

Enabling two-factor authentication is as simple as clicking on ‘Enable’ from your details page (click the icon in the top-right of the admin panel).

The first time you use it you will be asked to open your authenticator app and scan the code you see. In return, the app will show you a code which you can type in.

If you are an account administrator, you can make two-step authentication mandatory for all of your users by simply choosing that option (found within the ‘Authentication’ section, under ‘Account’).

If you have any questions about two-factor authentication, or business video hosting (or indeed any other aspect of our video CMS), please email us at [email protected] and we will be able to help you.
