When am I billed

Our standard procedure is to bill on the day of the month you upgraded to a paid account (from any initial trial period).

For example if you sign up for a paid account on the 14th of January, you would be billed on the 14th of February, the 14th of March, and so on.

That is slightly complicated by the fact some months may not have that “anchor” day. Referencing our payment provider, Stripe, they approach this situation as follows:

… a customer with a monthly subscription set to cycle on the 2nd of the month will always be billed on the 2nd. If a month doesn’t have the anchor day, the subscription will be billed on the last day of the month. For example, a subscription starting on January 31 bills on February 28 (or February 29 in a leap year), then March 31, April 30, and so on.

You will be billed for your package/plan and for any overage beyond your plan’s included allowance in that period.
