If you visit How can I limit what a user can do? we explain how a role works within the Vidbeo video CMS. Essentially a role contains a series of pages and permissions. The presence of a page or permission within a role means the user that is assigned that role is permitted to access/do it. Any not included in the role are denied.
All new Vidbeo accounts include a selection of commonly used roles that should cover the needs of most organisations. However if you find you need more granular control, you can also build your own custom roles too.
